Who it suits

Is it right for you?

Great for

  • Two anglers on longer carp or coarse sessions. There’s enough height and floor space to keep beds, tackle and clothing from turning into one big heap.
  • Barrow anglers fishing established swims. The weight and long packdown are much easier to live with when transport to the swim is straightforward.

Maybe skip if

  • Mobile anglers doing quick overnighters. It’s a sizeable shelter with a proper load to shift, so smaller bivvies will be less of a faff.
  • Anyone carrying gear a long way by hand. The complete 16.5kg weight and 168cm packdown length are hard to ignore.

Quick verdict

The verdict

The Nash Titan T2 Bivvy is a serious two-man shelter for anglers who want room to move, proper standing height and useful protection when the weather turns a bit tasty. The 10,000mm hydrostatic head, supplied HD groundsheet and internal vapour shield make it feel properly equipped rather than stripped back.

It’s not a light little overnighter shelter, though. At 16.5kg complete, plus a 168cm packdown length, this is best suited to established swims, barrow fishing and longer sessions. If that sounds like your sort of angling, it’s a cracking home-from-home.

The full rundown

Everything you'll want to know about the Nash Titan T2 Bivvy

The Nash Titan T2 Bivvy is built for anglers who want a proper base on the bank, not a tiny shell where every bit of kit has to be stacked like a game of tackle-box Jenga. It’s a spacious two-man shelter with enough height to stand up, get changed and sort yourself out without doing a comedy crouch every time.

At 193cm high, it’s a big old unit. The 168cm door height also makes getting in and out less of a faff, especially when you’re carrying a bucket, brew kit or a handful of wet clothing. If you spend long hours in the bivvy waiting for the rods to go, that extra space can make the whole session feel a lot less cramped.

Inside, the headline dimensions are 320cm wide by 286cm deep. That’s useful room for two beds, luggage and the bits that seem to multiply during a session. Sleeping bags, bait tubs, reels, waterproofs and the inevitable pile of spare layers all need somewhere to live. The Titan T2 gives you a better chance of keeping the middle clear for moving about.

Weather protection is a big part of the appeal. The fabric is rated to a 10,000mm hydrostatic head, which puts it firmly in serious shelter territory. That’s the sort of spec you want when the forecast has gone from ‘a few showers’ to sideways rain and the wind is having a proper strop. Get it pegged and tensioned sensibly, and it’s set up for demanding conditions.

The supplied internal vapour shield is another handy inclusion. It helps manage condensation inside the shelter, particularly when two anglers are breathing, cooking brews and bringing damp kit indoors. It’s not magic, mind. Ventilation still matters, so don’t seal yourself in like a tin of beans and then wonder why everything feels clammy by morning.

You also get two centre-window options: a Velcro mosquito-mesh panel and a PVC Velcro panel. The mesh is handy in warmer weather when you want airflow without inviting every buzzer and flying nuisance in for breakfast. The PVC panel gives you a more closed-off option when the weather’s looking a bit grim. Having both means you can match the front to the conditions.

The shelter comes with a tension bar and two storm poles, along with a set of Nash T pegs in a carry bag. That’s a decent starting package, rather than buying a bivvy and immediately raiding the tackle shop for half the bits needed to get it standing. Storm poles run from 48 to 82 inches, giving useful adjustment when you’re setting up on uneven ground or fine-tuning the profile.

There’s an HD groundsheet included too. It weighs 2.5kg on its own, taking the complete shelter package to 16.5kg. That’s worth keeping in mind before you commit to a long walk. The Titan T2 is far happier riding on a barrow than hanging off your shoulder while you’re lugging rods, bedchairs and bait through a field.

Packdown is 168cm long by 34cm wide. That isn’t outrageous for a shelter this roomy, but it does need proper transport space. Check your barrow, van or car before buying, mate. For long weekends, stormy nights and two anglers sharing a comfortable base, the bulk makes sense. For a quick evening session, it could feel like bringing a bivvy to a swim that only needed a brolly.

Our take

Big shelter energy, without the faff

The Titan T2’s main trick is simple: it gives two anglers a proper amount of usable space, rather than making you play Tetris with beds, bags and tackle boxes. Standing height is a big deal when you’re changing layers, sorting rigs or just trying to stretch your back after a night on the rods.

The trade-off is the size and weight. This isn’t the bivvy you casually sling over your shoulder for a long walk to a tiny margin swim. It makes most sense when you can barrow it in and want a solid base for a session.

The shelter itself

A spacious Titan with the right extras

The Nash Titan T2 Bivvy is a full-size two-man shelter with 193cm overall height, 320cm width and 286cm depth. That’s a generous footprint for beds, bags and tackle, while the 168cm door height makes getting in and out far more civilised than crawling through a low entrance.

Its 10,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof performance is aimed at proper all-season use. The internal vapour shield, tension bar, two storm poles and HD groundsheet are all included, so the package is ready for serious sessions rather than needing loads of add-ons straight away.

Worth knowing. The complete weight is 16.5kg, while the bivvy alone is 14kg. The HD groundsheet adds 2.5kg. That’s fine on a barrow, but a proper consideration if your swim involves a long hike.

On the bank

Best for roomy, settled sessions

This makes most sense for two anglers fishing established swims, particularly when the session runs over several nights. You’ve got the space to keep sleeping kit, clothing and tackle organised, and enough height to stand up while sorting rigs or changing layers.

The window panels add flexibility. Use the mosquito mesh when summer air and ventilation matter, then swap to the PVC panel when you want a more enclosed front. It’s a useful setup for changing conditions and a dead handy feature around warmer months.

It’s less suited to mobile fishing. The 168cm packdown length and 16.5kg complete weight make it a bit much for a short roving session, especially when you’re already carrying rods, bait and a bedchair. For that job, a smaller shelter will be less faff.

Quick answers

What you need to know before buying

Is it genuinely a two-man bivvy? Yes. The width and depth are designed to house two anglers and their session kit, although sensible organisation still helps. Two people can create a lot of clutter remarkably quickly.

Does it include a groundsheet? Yes. The HD groundsheet is supplied and weighs 2.5kg. That contributes to the 16.5kg complete weight, so remember to include it when planning your load.

What are the centre windows for? You get a Velcro mosquito-mesh panel and a PVC Velcro panel. The mesh helps with airflow and insects, while the PVC option gives you a more enclosed front for wetter or cooler conditions.
