RidgeMonkey Vault C-Smart Wireless Powerpack
Classic green and camo
A big-capacity powerpack with wireless charging, USB-C PD and a handy 12V socket. Pricey, yep — but this is serious kit for longer sessions and gadget-heavy angling.
- 266Wh capacity, with a premium-grade lithium polymer battery
- 60W USB-C Power Delivery input and output
- 12V DC socket rated up to 13A / 156W

Who it suits
Is it right for you?
Great for
- Long-session carp anglers. The large capacity and mix of outputs make it well suited to weekends and longer stays where several bits of kit need power.
- Anglers carrying modern electronics. USB-C PD, wireless charging and USB-A cover phones, tablets, cameras and plenty of everyday bank gadgets.
Maybe skip if
- Roaming or ultra-light anglers. At 1,495g before the accessories are added, it’s not exactly a pocket-friendly bit of kit.
- Anyone who only needs a quick phone top-up. A smaller powerbank will be cheaper, lighter and less of a faff for basic emergency charging.

Quick verdict
A cracking bit of bank furniture
The Vault C-Smart is a premium powerpack for anglers who want to keep phones, tablets, cameras and other 5V, USB-C or 12V kit ticking over without reaching for the car battery. It’s chunky, but the capacity and output options are properly useful.
It’s not the cheapest route to a bit of phone charge, and the 1.5kg-plus carry weight won’t suit a minimalist roving session. For long weekends, socials and gadget-heavy carp fishing, though, it’s a very capable bit of kit.
A premium, highly flexible powerpack that makes most sense for longer sessions and anglers carrying plenty of electronics.

Durable construction, a protective case and a premium lithium polymer battery give it a reassuring, well-equipped feel.
The large 266Wh capacity and broad range of outputs make it capable across phones, USB-C devices and suitable 12V kit.
It won’t magically put fish on the mat, but reliable power keeps cameras, lights and session essentials ready when a bite arrives.
Wireless charging, familiar USB ports, USB-C PD and the included adaptor keep the faff nicely low.
It’s expensive for simple phone charging, but the capacity, outputs and supplied accessories justify more of the spend for serious session anglers.

The full rundown
Everything you'll want to know about the RidgeMonkey Vault C-Smart Wireless Powerpack
Let’s be honest, modern carp fishing eats power. Your phone’s taking pictures, the headtorch is getting a bit twitchy, the camera battery wants topping up and somebody’s asking if the kettle can run off the same thing. That’s where the RidgeMonkey Vault C-Smart Wireless Powerpack comes in. It’s a serious bank-side battery rather than a tiny emergency phone charger.
The headline figure is a chunky 266Wh capacity. RidgeMonkey also quotes 77,850mAh at 3.7V and 24Ah at 11.1V, so this has plenty in the tank for a full session with several gadgets in the mix. You’re not looking at one quick top-up and then a flat display here. It’s designed for proper time on the bank.
The really useful bit is the choice of outputs. There’s a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad on top, giving up to 10W for a compatible phone. That’s spot on when you’re sat in the bivvy, phone in hand, and don’t want another cable draped across the bedchair. Just drop it down and crack on.
For wired charging, you get two USB-A ports, with up to 5V and 3A available and 4.8A total. That’ll cover a fair chunk of everyday fishing electronics, older phones, lights and similar kit. USB-A isn’t glamorous, but most anglers still have a drawer full of leads that use it.
The USB-C port is the bit that makes the Vault C-Smart feel properly current. It supports Power Delivery up to 60W, both for output and input. That means faster charging for suitable modern devices, while the included 60W adaptor gives the powerpack a sensible way to refill when you’re back home.
Then there’s the 12V DC socket. Rated up to 13A and 156W maximum, it opens the door to a much wider range of bank gear than a standard phone powerbank. Think compatible lights, fans and other 12V accessories. As ever, check the draw of your device first — don’t just bosh any old plug in and hope for the best.
Physically, it’s a sturdy-looking lump at 230mm by 130mm by 44mm, weighing 1,495g before the accessories are counted. That’s not outrageous for this sort of capacity, but it’s worth factoring into your barrow load. For a short evening stalking session, it’s probably more than you need. For a long stay in a comfy swim, it makes far more sense.
The outer construction is designed to cope with the general knocks and scrapes of tackle life, and the included neoprene carry case is a proper nice touch. It keeps the powerpack protected and makes it easier to chuck into a carryall without it rattling around with banksticks and bait tubs.
You also get a 60W USB-C Power Delivery mains adaptor with an integrated cable, plus a UK-to-EU two-pin travel adaptor. Recharging takes around 5.5 to 6 hours with the supplied adaptor, so give it an overnight charge before a big session. Available in classic green and camo, it looks the part too. Price-wise, it’s premium, but the flexibility is the selling point: one tidy power hub instead of a bag full of separate chargers and batteries.

Our take
Why this powerpack makes sense on the bank
The clever bit isn’t just the big battery. It’s the spread of outputs. You’ve got wireless charging for a compatible phone, USB-A for everyday electronics, USB-C Power Delivery for newer kit and a 12V DC socket for tackle-box accessories and bank tech.
That makes it much more than an emergency phone charger. It’s a central power hub for a modern session, especially when you’re running cameras, alarms, lights and other bits that all seem to need topping up at the same time.
Closer look
One powerpack, loads of ways to stay charged
The Vault C-Smart is built around flexibility. Wireless Qi charging is the lazy, convenient option, while the two USB-A ports cover standard leads and the USB-C PD port handles newer, higher-speed charging. Add the 12V DC socket and it becomes useful for far more than phones.
The 266Wh capacity is the key number for longer sessions. It gives you a proper reserve for several devices, rather than forcing you to ration every top-up. The 230mm x 130mm x 44mm body is fairly compact for the capacity, although the 1,495g weight means you’ll want it tucked securely in a carryall or bivvy.
Worth knowing. The 12V socket can deliver up to 13A and 156W, but your device still needs to be compatible. Check its voltage, plug and power draw before connecting it. A cheeky bit of caution here saves a very uncheeky repair bill.
Who it suits
Best for long sessions and gadget-heavy anglers
This is ideal for the angler who spends a couple of nights on the lake and carries more tech than a small film crew. Phones, cameras, lights and USB-C kit can all share the same power source, which keeps the swim tidier and avoids hunting for different battery packs.
It also suits anglers who want a bit of comfort. Wireless charging is dead handy beside the bedchair, while the 12V output gives you options for suitable accessories. The included case helps keep everything together when you’re packing down after a bite-time session.
It’s less convincing for quick day trips, stalking or anyone who counts every gram. A smaller powerbank will do the basic phone job with less weight and less spend. This one earns its keep when the session is longer and the kit list is bigger.
FAQs in full
The stuff you’ll want to know before buying
How long does a full recharge take? With the included 60W USB-C PD adaptor, allow roughly 5.5 to 6 hours. Charge it at home before heading off, rather than leaving it until you’re loading the barrow.
What can the 12V output run? It can supply up to 13A and 156W maximum, so it’s suitable for compatible 12V bank accessories within those limits. Always check the individual product requirements first.
Is the wireless pad worth having? If your phone supports Qi, yes. It’s not the fastest charging option at up to 10W, but it’s wonderfully convenient when you’re moving around the swim or keeping cables out of the way.
