Coors Angling Club’s Andressey stretch has 20 marked pegs and a proper change in depth, from 5–6 feet at pegs 1–5 to around 16 feet beside the willow at peg 6. There’s float fishing in the upper swims, plus a flat tarmac approach that suits a fishing trolley.

A proper long bit of Trent at Great Haywood: approximately two miles upstream from Essex Bridge to 500 yards above Hoo Mill Weir. It’s run by Bibby’s / Stone District Angling Club, with stick-float fishing and stronger leger tackle for barbel on the club’s Trent menu.
